Janice Dowle Co-ordinator
I grew up knowing I could do anything, my mother didn’t believe in corporal punishment which was at odds with parenting practice in the 1950’s and I knew I was loved. Never said, I just knew!
Educated locally, my professional background is banking, business administration and marketing and community involvement includes Friends of Starship, Rotary, Church, Community House, Girl Guides and other children related groups.
My husband and I have develop computerised products for the marine and roading industries, marketed them worldwide and have received international awards but my best achievement is our 3 children. Our children are completely different and in other ways the same and have grown into well rounded adults contributing to society with families of their own. When I heard about SPACE, I wished it had been around when I had children, a New Zealand developed programme by mothers for mothers.
